Tesla wrestles with the implications of his invention. Should he destroy it to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands, or does the potential for good outweigh the risks? His internal conflict intensifies as he recalls the horrifying visions of a future dominated by a tyrant and plagued by war. Seeking guidance, Tesla turns to his old friend, Dr. Faustus, an expert in the paranormal. Faustus warns him that the forces Tesla has tapped into are dangerous, and that there are those who would stop at nothing to harness such power. Together, they discuss the possibilities and perils of using the Tesla coil for good. Faustus introduces Tesla to Selene, a centuries-old succubus who has her own interest in Tesla’s invention.
