Fighting On Many Fronts
Brontë, the ancient goddess of thunder, storms, and the other realms, has guided Tesla and his team through their journey and now agrees to officiate the soul bonding, or wedding, between Tesla and Selene. However, the excitement of the ceremony is interrupted when Mephistopheles—a demon who has waited 500 years for Faustus to honor their soul selling bargain —arrives. Mephistopheles announces that after the battle, he will claim Faustus's soul and take him to hell. However, as a gesture of honor, he allows Faustus to assist Tesla in the upcoming fight against the Nazis. Faustus, worried about his fate, questions Tesla about the possibilities of escaping his doom through the redesigned coil, a/k/a the Ring of Power. Selene, always by Tesla's side, hints with a wink that there may be other ways to save Faustus.
As the soul-bonding ceremony proceeds, Mephistopheles surprisingly attends, acknowledging that this rare union between souls is a beneficial transaction even for demons. Brontë, recognizing Tesla as not only a man of science but also a protector of humanity, officiates the union.
Tesla, armed with the Ring of Power, leads his Maccabee commandos into battle. Under the watchful supervision of Mephistopheles, Tesla’s forces are initially winning the day against Himmler’s military forces and supernatural allies. In desperation, Himmler calls upon powerful and dark entities—Loki, the god of mischief, Hel, the goddess of the underworld, and Fenrir, the wolf god of destruction. This overwhelming combination of gods threatens to tip the battle in favor of the Nazis.
